I Love Wearing Tights!

The title of this post is so very true, and I'd proudly say that to anyone who asked me.  But it is also the name of a fabulous blog ( run by Samantha Denier.  If you've never read it, and you're the slightest bit interested in hosiery, do yourself a favor and check it out!  Samantha is the kind of blogger who is willing to share her most intimate thoughts and dreams with her readers, detailing her fascination with seeing and wearing tights, even from a very young age.

I share many of the same thoughts and feelings as Samantha and, oftentimes when I'm reading her blog, I feel like she's writing about MY life.  I created a cap for her about a fun evening we recently had together, and I wanted to share that with you - my readers.
Anyone interested in getting together some time?  I'll even let you show your gratitude for a fabulous evening the same way Samantha did!!

Prom time is here, and as I see all the advertisements for all the gorgeous dresses for ladies to wear to the big dance, I wonder what I would want to wear.  And the answer is simple: each and every one of them!!  Elegant, sexy, frilly, poofy, slinky, long, short, any color of the rainbow!  Of course I'd also wear a pair of super-high stilettos and my sheerest, nude stockings.  Oh a girl can dream!

I enjoy spending time with Kendall and Simone, two of my beautiful and adventurous girlfriends.  And while these caps aren't about an evening at prom, we were elegantly dressed and having a super-fun time together!

Would you care to join us next time?

Bon Voyage!

No, I’m not going anywhere.  But I wish I was!  Recently I’ve been writing, and talking with friends, about one of my favorite things to do: travel.  I’ve been lucky enough to visit many States, as well as Canada, Mexico, Italy, & several Caribbean Islands.  I love to eat the native food, drink their beverages, meet the people and see how they live, and explore their wild and beautiful scenery.  There are still so many more places that I want to visit, and hopefully I will someday…

Here’s a cap from my archives about a guy who also enjoyed travel, and was lucky enough to get a job in the travel industry:

Where have you traveled and what’s on your list of places to see?

Ciao Italia!

I am intrigued by people who speak with a foreign accent.  I can’t help imagining they live in an exotic locale, leading an exciting or glamorous life.  Their accent lends them an air of mystery, like they have some fascinating secret that I’m just dying to find out.  I have girl friend who is very nice and so very attractive, but when she talks to me in her Spanish accent, I find her simply irresistible!  My thoughts drift to drinking rum on the sunny beaches of her native Puerto Rico, dancing as the sun sets……

In my story, the protagonist finds herself working with a tall, dark, and handsome man, and is instantly attracted to him.  But when he speaks to her in his lyrical Italian accent, she gets swept off her feet and soon finds herself losing all of her inhibitions when she is with him.  He winds up treating her to a romantic evening, and after a little vino and dancing, they’re heading back to his place for…I’m not going to spoil it for you!  I’ll let you imagine what happens next!!
Here's a cap I made for Simone about a similar situation:

I’ve also included a second cap that I made for Sara.  While it doesn’t talk about accents, it does include one of the places I’ve always wanted to visit: Rome.

Is there an accent that you find simply irresistible?

Another tease!

As promised, here’s another sneak-peek of the story I’ve been working on:  A man is miserable in his current job and wants to find something better to do with his life.  He has an obsession with hosiery and enjoys wearing them any chance he gets.  He also enjoys cross-dressing (in private) and secretly wishes he could experience life as a woman – even if only temporarily.  When he discovers an online service that gives him the chance to try his dream job, he “accidentally” applies for a job as a hosiery model.  With the help of two beautiful and talented women – and one tall, dark and handsome gentleman – he discovers that some “accidents” can actually have happy endings!

The idea for this book came from a moment in my real life.  After an especially tedious day at work, I drove home thinking: if I was given the opportunity to do anything else, what would be my “dream job”?  As I’ve written and capped about in the past, getting paid to wear sexy hosiery – while inspiring more women to do the same – would be my perfect career.  Luckily for me, with a few hours home alone, some creativity and a camera with a self-timer, I’ve had a few chances to experience my dream job.  And with a little imagination and some simple computer skills, I was able to turn one of my favorite pictures into an advertisement:

Now if only I could open up a fashion magazine and see this ad.  (Hey, a girl can dream!!)  So what do you think: does this ad inspire you to want to buy and wear hose?

Drowning in nylon!

Good morning lovelies!

This fine, fabulous morning I had the house to myself, so I decided that, instead of simply slipping into my usual suntan L'eggs Sheer Energy, I'd wear something a little more special today.  I took out my secret stash of hosiery, dumped it on the bed, and picked through all the pretty patterns and gorgeous colors before making my selection: super-chic, black, spiral-striped hose from Nordstrom.  (Remind me to get a picture of these beauties for you!)

Anyway, looking at the dozens of hose spread across the bed, I was reminded of a picture that Katie shared back in late December for a caption contest.  I was happy with my final product - and the followup cap I made - and wanted to share them with you here while I finish up some new stuff.

So what do you say: do you dare to share what you like to wear??

These are a few of Katie Mills' favorite things!

I met Katie Mills a few years ago on Rachel's Haven.  After learning we both shared a love (or is it an obsession??) with all types of hosiery, we quickly became good friends.  She is a gorgeous girl and a talented writer & cap designer, with 99.999% of her caps including hosiery.  If you haven't done so yet, do yourself a favor and check out her sexy blog:

Anyway, recently Katie posted that she was feeling a bit overwhelmed by "real life" and needed to take a break from capping.  I think we've all been there at some point, so I decided to create a cap for her to let her know she's not alone, and (hopefully) to pick up her spirits.  But by the time I was able to finish my cap, she was back on the blog and as good as ever.  Here's the cap:

Katie - I can't wear a pair of polka dot pantyhose without thinking of you.  (But after making this cap, I think my thoughts are going to be a little more...intimate.)  I hope this cap put a smile on your face!  Have a wonderful day.

Calling Hailey Pixley. Won't you please come out and play?

I’d like to share a little secret with you about the cover art photo for my upcoming book (see my 1/28/15 post).  I knew I wanted a close up picture, but knew that shaving my legs (or even just a portion of them) would raise too many suspicions.  After a little experimenting, I figured out that 2 pairs of suntan pantyhose beneath my black stockings provided flawless coverage for my legs.  What do you think?  Was it effective?
The layers of nylons reminded me of a cap that my dear friend Hailey had created for me.  If you never had the pleasure of meeting her, Hailey was a talented capper that shared her love of hosiery with many faithful followers through her fabulous blog “A Tights Spot”.  But then, one day without warning, her blog was gone.  Eventually Hailey resurfaced on Dee’s super-blog ( to assure us that she was OK, but had a personal issue that necessitated the immediate shut down of her blog.
I dug through my archives and found the cap that Hailey made for me, as well as the return cap I made for her.  I wanted to share these with you, and to let Hailey know how much we all miss her silky little blog and that we’re all waiting for her to get back on her high-heeled feet.

Remember me??

I was quite embarrassed when I realized that it's been 11 months since I last posted anything on my blog!  Where has the time gone and what have I been doing with it?

If there is anyone out there who still chooses to check in on me every once in a while, I can assure you that everything is well.  I'm still slipping into stockings as often as possible, and skirts and heels any chance I get a little alone time.  So what have I been doing with myself?  Why no new posts??

I have to admit that I have been sooo preoccupied with writing my story!  If you're not aware, a while back, Rachel's Haven started a project to help its members get their written works published while raising some funds for the site.  It's called the "A Little Bit of Girl Time" Collection, and it features works from many of the talented girls on the Haven.

I've always longed to write a book and see it published, so I thought I'd give it a try.  I must admit: it's much harder than I thought!  I have a fabulous story that is very close to me, so the storyline and characters are all worked out, and I've already written several drafts.  But ironing out all of the details that make a good idea a well-crafted story has been taking up so much of my time and focus, and I just haven't put much energy into creating caps or posts for my blog.  But I do see a light at the end of the tunnel, and with a little persistence my story will be done soon!!

So if you're still reading this post and are curious about my story, here's a teaser: a cross-dressing man who hates his job "accidentally" submits an application for a "women only" job.  To his surprise, he is offered the job and the opportunity to have the femme appearance he not only needs for the job, but has always longed to have.  The first day at his dream job leads to a chance meeting with an irresistible man who gives "her" a romantic evening she'll always remember and an erotic night she'll never forget!

The Haven is also allowing authors to provide their own cover art, so here's a peek at something I've been working on:
Yes, it's a "selfie" if you're curious.  I'm quite proud of how it turned out, and I can't wait to see my story (and my legs!) in print to be shared with you.
Drop me a note some time!  I promise I won't be such a stranger to the blog world.
Ciao! Elise
